Founded in 2022 in Gallatin, Tennessee, Southern Roots was born out of a deep love for candles, crafting, and the art of creating warmth and ambiance in everyday spaces. What began as a personal passion soon grew into a way to share comfort, creativity, and peace with others.

At the heart of Southern Roots is a belief that candles can do more than brighten a room. They can uplift and energize moods, spark memories, and support mental wellness. Each hand-poured creation is designed not only to delight the senses but also to encourage relaxation, calm, and self-care.

Rooted in a love for ambiance and self care, we aim to bring warmth, comfort, moodiness, and peace into every space. 

Our Vision

Our vision is to grow beyond selling candles, and create a community of creativity and mental health support through crafting and mixing. In the future, Southern Roots will host beginner-friendly candle making classes and intimate candle parties that will offer experiences where people can connect, craft, and find joy in creating something meaningful together.
